For the Month of September, we are featuring
Mommas Haven of Colorado Springs.

Mommas Haven's mission is to create a warm and welcoming community where military and low-income families can find the support they need. They are dedicated to providing resources, assistance, and a nurturing environment that empowers families to thrive. Together, they strive to create a network of care, understanding, and resilience, ensuring that every family feels valued and supported. In addition, they believe in the power of connection, compassion, and they strive to uplift each other through shared experiences, resources, and encouragement.

Our Community Outreach program fosters greater community responsibility within our membership.
IN-KIND DONATION COLLECTIONS
At designated MPSC Socials, Community Outreach hosts a donations collection for a local organization which functions to positively impact US Military Service Members, their families and the local Fort Carson community. The MPSC Members learn more about the organization’s mission and what MPSC Members can do to spread the word, to utilize services, or further contribute to the organization through service. MPSC Members are encouraged to bring in requested items that will greatly benefit the organization’s current needs.
BECOME A COMMUNITY OUTREACH SPONSORED ORGANIZATION OR CHARITY
If you are a representative for a non-profit or charity that supports to the military community and would like to request in-kind donations to be collected at a MPSC Social, please email the Community Outreach Coordinator: communityoutreach@mpsc.us.

WARRIOR'S WAREHOUSE
COAT DRIVE
DEDICATED TO WARMTH
Each Autumn, Community Outreach partners with Warrior's Warehouse to host their Annual Coat Drive for Fort Carson families to obtain cold weather gear to stay safe and warm in Colorado’s frosty winter months. Items are collected in order to distribute to Service Members and military family members who need to prepare for upcoming Coloradoan winter.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
The Coat Drive is one of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities for MPSC Members to see their hard work directly benefit a fellow military community member. The impact of this community outreach project grows more each year and we hope to continue that trend into the future!

SANTA'S WORKSHOP
TOY DRIVE
HELPING TO BRING JOY
Each Winter, Community Outreach partners with Mountain Post Santa's Workshop to help collect toys for their Annual Toy Drive for Fort Carson families in need. Items are collected in order to distribute to Service Members and military family members who are in need this holiday season.

FORT CARSON DEPLOYED LOVE
DEDICATED TO PROVIDING ​
FRIENDSHIP DURING DEPLOYMENT

DLFC is a non-profit organization that supports families before, during and after deployment. Deployed Love strives to unite deployed military members and their families by serving the military community with events that bring connection and joy to the families involved.
​
Social events are hosted throughout the year, most events are free to anyone in the military community. We want to support you before during and after deployments.
​
Holiday Mini Sessions are the heart and soul of what we do. Creating memories of times separated and bringing families together during the holidays!
