Our featured Community Outreach this month is TESSA of Colorado Springs. TESSA was established in May 1977 in response to a high rate of calls to local law enforcement from women threatened or assaulted by their partners.  Today, TESSA is a multi-faceted agency that includes a confidential Safehouse, Victim Advocacy, Counseling and Children’s Programs, a 24/7 Safe Line, Community Outreach and Education.  Please consider partnering with us in support of this organization by donating items at our January social and by learning more about the services TESSA provides. Together we can take a stand against domestic violence and create a community where everyone feels valued, safe and loved.

Suggested donations in support of TESSA: Gas Gift Cards ($25-$50), Towels, Hand Towels, NEW and FULL sized hygiene products, diapers/ pull-ups (of all sizes), and Gift cards to places like: King Soopers, Safeway, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, Subway, Walmart, Goodwill, ARC, Ross ($10-$25).
